Dr. Maryam Abbasi is an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Tehran, the official supervisor and therapist of the International Emotional Therapy Center (ICEEFT). The focus of her educational and research activities is the study of interpersonal dynamics, unconscious processes of self-regulation, training and supervision of students, interns and therapists in the field of experiential dynamic psychotherapy and EFT. She conducts couple therapy sessions with the emotion-focused couple therapy (EFT) approach and individual psychotherapy with the intensive and short-term psychodynamic approach (ISTDP).
